Associate in Science
The Industrial Management Technology program is designed to prepare students for initial employment with an occupational title as industrial (supervisory) manager or to provide additional opportunities for those with military/corporate experience and training to apply those competencies to obtain an A.S. degree. This mid-level management degree program focuses on broad, transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the following elements of the Industrial Management industry: planning, management, finance, technical and product skills, underlying principles of technology, labor issues, community issues and health, safety, and environmental issues. This program is based on the philosophy that today’s managers need to be actively interacting with subordinates to be most effective. This degree will make individuals more marketable in all facets of industry, retail, commercial, small business and military commands.
The Industrial Management Technology degree program’s online option is grouped into 8-week units. You can complete your degree in 18 months or less. With applicable previous college credits, work or military experience, you can finish the program in 12 months or less.
