BSC 2086C - Human Anatomy and Physiology II



This course is a continuation of Human Anatomy and Physiology I and includes: the cardiovascular system; the lymphatic system and immunity; the respiratory system; the digestive system and metabolism; the urinary system; fluid/electrolyte and acid/base balance; and the reproductive systems. Within Anatomy and Physiology II, these topics may or may not be covered in the sequence listed.  The laboratory component of this course provides students with direct hands-on experiences to reinforce the anatomical and physiological concepts presented in lecture and encourage critical thinking, the understanding of scientific methodology and the application of scientific principles.
Prerequisites
BSC 2085C with a grade of “C” or better
